April 2010... and then there were four....

April was a fun month. We had Easter. I believe that Claire made it to three Easter Egg Hunts. First, Grandma Becky had all of the kiddos to her house on Saturday for an egg hunt. Each kiddo had a color to find in the yard (Claire's was yellow). The bigger boys were doing a treasure hunt around the yard, finding clues to goodies... all created by Grandpa Neil. Then, Grandma Carolyn had one at her house before church on Easter morning. And, finally Aunt De created one on the Kerlin Farm for Claire, Noah, Nolan, and Noel. Let's just say that Claire got a lot of loot that weekend!

On April 7, 2010 Caroline Rebecca arrived. I was able to have two days of Spring Break at home with Claire and then that Tuesday evening (after taking a really good walk and making jokes about walking the baby out) we were watching The Biggest Loser. I looked at Aaron and said, "hmmm.... I think I'm having a little pain." We started timing and the "pain" and sure enough, we were ready to head to the hospital! We thought it was supposed to be quicker than the first time... it wan't. Caroline came the next morning at 5:00 A.M.

Claire was excited from the beginning. She gave lots of kisses to her new little sister. Though towards the end, she told people she was going to have a puppy!

I'm guessing Daddy and Grandpa are saying, "gentle, gentle."
