July 2010

Once July hit, it was a reality check for me. I knew that my time off was closing in on me and, as most teachers know, once you hit July 4th, it's all downhill from there... and it was. :(

We were so busy! My Dad and Bonnie were here for a week during the fourth. We had Deanna Kerlin's wedding (Claire was a flower girl) and our 15 year Class Reunion that I was planning.
July ended up being a blur- a good blur, but a blur nonetheless!

Caroline is such a big girl. This is her favorite position- though we usually have a blanket underneath her.

Our girlies! :) So sweet!

At the beginning, Claire would tell me to put Caroline in her bouncy seat so that we could go play. By July, she knew that wasn't going to fly, so she just accepted that if we were going to play, Caroline was going to be right beside us! :)

Such a good big sister. Claire wants to be a part of everything Caroline does. She's started to talk to Caroline the way we do. For instance, when Caroline cries, Claire will say, "it's ok, it's ok" or "I know, I know, I know."

What a sweet face!

Claire is still loving those stuffed animals. The more the merrier... Mommy's biggest problem is where to put them! UGH!

Knee high by the fourth of July? Definitely!

Hanging out at Grandma Becky and Grandpa Neil's- one of her very favorite places.

Our neighborhood had a block party- though it was about a million degrees, we headed out to see what was going on. Claire got her face panted, got some yummy goodies and then we headed home where it was cool again!

Dad and Bonnie came at the beginning of July.
Following that, we had Deanna's wedding, our Golf Outing, and then our Class Reunion. :) Pictures below.

We kept Dad and Bonnie busy- poor Caroline, she just went with the flow.

A picture one evening at Hamilton Towne Center.

Rehearsal of first time flower girl.
Even though we told her to smile... she wasn't in the smilin' mood!

After the festivities, we had a quick family picture at the reception.
Class Reunion.

Something's funny.

This one just warms my heart a little bit.
This was grown with Grandma-ma from seed- she was was so proud.

Three generations (would have been four if Aaron had agreed to get in the picture).
